Council On Aging -
Our mission is to help Henderson County's seniors remain independent in their homes, through services including Meals on Wheels, senior centers, information and advocacy, and crisis management.

Four Seasons Hospice & Palliative Care -
Four Seasons Hospice & Palliative Care is a non-profit organization, deeply committed to serving the community through fulfilling its mission of affirming life and providing holistic care in harmony with the goals of individuals with chronic, serious or life-limiting conditions while offering support to their families and loved ones.

Habitat for Humanity -
Habitat ReStores are retail outlets where quality used furniture, household items and surplus building materials are sold at a fraction of new list prices. Proceeds from ReStores help local affiliates fund the construction of Habitat houses within the community. We encourage those of you who are moving or downsizing to call us for pickup of unwanted furniture and household items.

Housing Assistance -
Founded in 1988, the agency has grown from a church committee to an organization providing housing services to over 3000 families. Services provided include emergency home repair, apartment rentals, owner-built housing, farm labor housing, major rehabilitation, down payment assistance, home-ownership education and counseling. Local financial support is generated from the United Way, Community Foundation, city and county governments, churches, businesses, civic organizations and private citizens.

Mainstay -
Mainstay is committed to helping victims of domestic violence in Henderson County acquire the information and skills necessary to take control over the decisions affecting their lives. Our programs are designed to assist them in finding the resources within themselves and in the community to make these decisions and to achieve their individual goals. All services are available not only to residents of Mainstay's Shelter but to the community as a whole.

Salvation Army -
The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian church. Its message is based on the Bible. Its ministry is motivated by the love of God. Its mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination.
